About Me

Hi, my name is David, I'm an aerospace engineer at Northrop Grumman. I mostly do model based systems engineering (MBSE), with a focus on mission operations. I got my B.S from UCLA in 2019, and my M.S from the University of Michigan in 2021, both in aerospace engineering and with a focus on autonomous vehicles and optimization. For my masters program, I explored different image processing and segmentation techniques on ultrasonic c-scans of composite laminate panels for impact damage analysis. While at UCLA I was very interested in space propulsion & systems engineering, but towards the end of my time at Michigan, I became interested in AI & machine learning, which is mostly what I write about now.

Outside of STEM, I like to study piano & music theory. Also, I draw! Check out my instagram.
